We are launching this campaign to provide Islamic books, DVDs, prayer mats, and koofis to Muslim inmates in detention centers across Ottawa and the Ontario region. These resources will help them:
✅ Learn and deepen their understanding of Islam
✅ Maintain their daily prayers with proper essentials
✅ Stay connected to their faith during a difficult time
✅ Find spiritual guidance and support
Many incarcerated Muslims in Ottawa and across Ontario lack access to essential Islamic resources that can help them maintain and strengthen their faith. Without access to Qur’ans, prayer mats, educational materials, and other religious items, practicing Islam in prison becomes a significant challenge.
Your contributions will go directly towards purchasing:
📖 Islamic Books & Qur’ans – To provide knowledge and strengthen faith
📀 Islamic DVDs – Educational and inspirational content for inmates
🕌 Prayer Mats – Enabling them to establish regular prayer
🧢 Koofis (Prayer Caps) – Helping them observe religious practices
For many Muslim inmates, Islam serves as a source of hope, rehabilitation, and personal transformation. By providing them with these essential resources, we are not only helping them stay connected to their faith but also offering them the tools to seek spiritual growth and positive change.
